As I already announced in recent posts, the worldcup season did finally start! 5 hours of driving with our team busses, we arrived in Meiringen. A cute little city, pretty close to Grindelwald (and the Eiger). The walls were not that steep, and full of flatholds and cheetah holds – not that diversified.

On Friday morning the men’s qualification started, the woman had to wait until 4:30pm to try their best. I was the 8th female competitor to start, so no long waiting time in the isolation zone 🙂

I had to climb 5 problems, which I couldn’t solve like I wanted to. At the slab I tried the first move to the bonus hold 5 minutes hahaha. At the next 3 boulders, I was not able to climb them, although 2 of them were absolutely climbable! I’m still thinking about the reason why. BUT the last problem: Only the TOP 11 woman of the qualification result (and me) were able to top this problem. I was pretty proud of me, that I managed that 🙂

This weekend on Saturday and Sunday the next worldcup takes place in Kazo (JPN). Cross your fingers to see me finally at the livestream of the semifinals 😉
